GREATGOLD NEWS – One of the most prolific recording artists with a career that spanned from 1966 through 2017 left a huge collection of musical performances when he left this earth in 2021. BJ Thomas passed away May 29, 2021 at the age of 78. He left a huge catalog of recordings that gained millions of sales to fans far and wide, from “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” in 1966, to “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head” in 1969, to “Rock and Roll Lullabye” in 1972, to “(Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song” in 1975, and dozens more in-between and after.
BJ Thomas was blessed with Grammy Awards, Dove Awards, and the Grammy Hall of Fame Award. His albums and singles became classics on rock, pop, and country radio, and many of his works had a following in the world of Christian and gospel radio.

He even managed a broadcast radio station in the 1970s before being editor of a newspaper for several years.
