“The Talk” is scheduled to be replaced by a new soap opera type program. CBS says the new soap series will follow the lives of a Black family living in a wealthy gated neighborhood, scheduled to debut in January 2025. CBS has taken The Talk tv show off the air. December 20, 2024, was the last day. Thousands, upon thousands of regular viewers, will miss the pleasant co-hosts coming into their (our) homes, hospitals, retiree housing, businesses, etc., along with the various guests, as well as occasional guest hosts. The familiar faces will show up on other tv programs from time to time in the future. For example, some of these stars will appear on a renewed version of Hollywood Squares produced by Drew Barrymore on CBS soon.
